High School Senior Photographer | Brandi Price Photography | OKC

A huge perk to being a part of the Brandi Price Photography Senior Team is all the fun themed sessions we do! You get to get all these extra fun images that no one else gets! For this session, I wanted to do something that none of my past teams have done. All of the girls loved the idea of a football session, so that’s what we did. They were encouraged to wear a football jersey or shirt from their high school, favorite college, or NFL team.

The day of our session, the girls met up at the field, each donning a football jersey, ranging from their favorite NFL teams to jerseys of their school’s football team. In the midst of all the busy-ness of their senior year I love that we get to have small pockets of no pressure, just show up and enjoy, fun!

Senior Pictures At High School Football Field

Your high school’s football field is a great place to take some of your senior pictures for many reasons.

1. Personal Connection: High school is a significant chapter in your life, and the football field is often a central location at your school. It’s where you may have made lasting memories on those Friday nights and experienced exciting moments. Capturing your senior photos there can symbolize the journey you have been on throughout your 4 years of high school.
2. School Pride: If you have a strong sense of school pride, taking your senior photos on the football field can showcase your commitment to your school and its traditions. It is not nearly as common now, but if you have been at your school since kindergarten you bleed your school colors!
3. Unique Aesthetic: Football fields offer a unique and visually appealing backdrop for photos. The vibrant green turf, stadium seating, goalposts, and surrounding facilities can add an interesting and dynamic element to your pictures. I always love the look of the silver bleachers in senior photos. They provide the perfect reflective surface to create beautiful lighting and there are so many poses you can do on them.
4. Sports Enthusiasm: If you’re a sports enthusiast or have been involved in football or other sports during your high school years, the football field is a place where you have likely spent a lot of time. Using this setting can be a way to celebrate your passion for sports and the hard work you have put into your athletic career.
5. Nostalgia: Over time, revisiting the football field can evoke feelings of nostalgia. Your senior photos taken there will serve as a lasting reminder of your high school years and the emotions associated with that time in your life. It is amazing to me how just looking at old photos can bring back so many memories and emotions that you haven’t even thought about for years.
6. Symbolism: The football field can symbolize achievement, teamwork, and the sense of accomplishment that comes with reaching your senior year. It can also represent the starting point for your next adventures and goals beyond high school.

Ultimately, the choice of location for your senior photos should reflect your personality, interests, and the significance of your high school experience. If the football field holds special meaning for you, it can be a wonderful choice for capturing this important milestone in your life.

We wrapped up the session with the girls acting out what it looks like to them when a football team lines up before a snap. It was quite comical to hear their conversations and them trying to figure out what to do. I love the genuine smiles captured in these photos.

One of MY favorite things about the BPP Senior Team is watching these girls form friendships with new people. You can never have too many people in your circle cheering you on!
