Summer is such a great time for senior pictures — the light is golden, flowers are blooming, and it’s the perfect season to show off your personal style. Today, I’m sharing two amazing summer sessions with two incredible seniors: Abigail and Kinlee. Their sessions were totally different but equally beautiful, and each one showed off their unique personalities in the best way!
Abigail’s session was so special to me because I actually went to school with her mom! We were neighbors growing up, and I remember her cheering while I played basketball. It felt like such a full-circle moment getting to photograph her daughter for her senior year.
Abigail is one of those girls who does it all: basketball, softball, track, cheer, student council. She’s super outgoing and brought so much energy to her shoot. She had seven different outfits (yes, seven!), and every single one looked amazing.
We explored some of my favorite spots around the city:
Every outfit showed off a different side of Abigail, playful, sporty, glam, and confident. Her session had such a fun, carefree summer vibe. If you’re looking for summer senior pictures that show off all the things that make you you, this session is a great example!
Kinlee’s session was full of personality, color, and the cutest little extra, her dog, Louis! Kinlee lives on 400 acres and helps her grandpa on the farm, so it only made sense to end her session at the OKC Stockyards. She even wore one of her grandpa’s belt buckles, which made the photos there even more meaningful.
We started downtown, capturing bright flowers and colorful walls. Then we stopped by the Myriad Gardens, where she wore a bold pink ruffle top that popped beautifully among the flowers. Next, we headed to the Wheeler District, where the pastel-colored townhomes gave us the cutest, happiest backgrounds for photos. Her black and white floral dress paired with hot pink shoes was chef’s kiss!
The last stop — the Stockyards — was where Kinlee totally embraced her cowgirl style. She wore denim, turquoise jewelry, and her favorite boots. Her confidence and love for her roots really came through in these shots.
If you love cowgirl senior pictures or want to include meaningful pieces of your life in your shoot (like your animals or family keepsakes), Kinlee’s session shows just how special that can be. And if you’re dreaming of senior pictures at Wheeler District, it’s definitely a spot to add to your list!
Abigail and Kinlee’s summer senior pictures were so different — but both showed exactly who they are. That’s what I love most about senior photography. It’s your time to shine, show off your personality, and create photos that you’ll love forever.
Whether you want to run barefoot through a splash pad, wear your cowgirl boots at the Stockyards, or just look like your best self in your favorite outfits — I’m here to help you plan it all.
