1. Plan for the Weather: Oklahoma summers can be hot! Thankfully we will be shooting mostly in the shade. I will also bring along several cold bottles of water. Be sure to hydrate leading up to your session! I also recommend bringing a small handheld fan to help cool you off during outfit changes.

Consider bringing a variety of outfits to your session, including both casual and more formal options. Highlighting Summer Senior Sessions from June, July, and August

Over the summer months, I had the pleasure of working with some incredible seniors, each bringing their own unique style and energy to their sessions. Here are a few highlights:

• June: Early summer brought the lush greenery and blooming flowers to life all around OKC. We had sessions from Will Rogers Gardens, to mural painted tunnels, and all around downtown. June is usually the best summer month because it is typically the coolest, relatively speaking. But this year it was some of the hottest sessions of the summer! These girls did not let the heat stop them and rocked their sessions!

• July: July threw in some super hot days, but we also had several sessions with below normal temps! With some early summer rain, everything was still nice and lush and bright! We added in the Boat House District for a session in July and it was stunning! Her bright pink dress paired perfectly with the blue boathouse and the golden sunlight!

• August: August brought even hotter temps, but thanks to professional hair and makeup these girls still looked stunning throughout their sessions! Lots of downtown and Myriad Garden sessions this month and even a little after sunset shot!
