It’s the summer before your senior year of high school. Excitement is at an all time high! You have your senior pictures scheduled in a few weeks, but now what? This may be your first time having professional pictures taken and you might be a little nervous and unsure of what to do in front of the camera. No need to worry! That is my job as a professional photographer to guide you and pose you throughout your session.

My goal is to capture you and your unique style and personality. The most important thing for you to remember is to BE YOURSELF!

Sunburns and tan lines can be minimized in photoshop, but not completely erased. I would encourage you to be extra careful the week leading up to your session while you are out in the sun. Sun-kissed skin is perfect, just don’t get burned!

Choose clothes that will not be too hot in this Oklahoma heat and humidity. Cute flowy dresses, shorts (just make sure they aren’t too short so that you can move around and pose in them) and tank tops, and rompers are all great options for senior pictures during the summer months!

Fun accessories for summer photo sessions include: sunglasses, big floppy hats, funky earrings, and sandals.

Don’t forget to have your fingernails and toenails freshly painted! Chipped paint is not a good look! Go for a more neutral color that will be able to go with several different outfit looks.
